Arrange your complimentary Will review

As you may be aware, Professional Will Planning (PWP) has recently ceased trading and has appointed Barclay & Strauss as the ongoing servicing provider for their Will clients.

Confirmation of this arrangement can also be found on the PWP website homepage.

As part of this transition, your original Will document, which was previously held within PWP’s secure storage facility, is being safely transferred into our secure Will storage facility.

Please be reassured:

• There is no charge for transferring your Will into our storage
• There is no change to the validity of your existing Will
• Your original documents remain safe and protected
• You do not need to take any immediate action

Once the transfer has been completed, we will issue you with a new Will Storage Certificate confirming your new storage details, together with clear instructions explaining how you, your Executors or your family can access your Will in the future if required.

As part of welcoming you as a client, we are also offering you a completely free Will review.

Many of the Wills transferring to us were prepared several years ago, and whilst they remain valid, it is always sensible to periodically review your arrangements to ensure they still reflect your current wishes and circumstances.

A review can be particularly important if there have been changes such as:

• Marriage or separation
• The birth of children or grandchildren
• Changes to your chosen Executors
• Moving home
• Changes in your financial circumstances
• Changes to your inheritance wishes
• Concerns regarding care fees or protecting your estate
